I created a material like this and saved it.
There are two types of leaves, Material[Green,Orange] of the trunk[Red],and two-sided materials[GB,OP] are applied to each.

As you can see, there are more materials compared to image 1.
The original material is not adapted, the duplicate material is adapted.[Why?]
